The Young And The Restless (Y&R) scoop for Wednesday, January 11 suggests Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) will tell her brother he’s no better than Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic).
Also coming up, Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) will release his bottled up anger towards his soon to be ex-wife. Plus, Lily will tell Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) they’re through. And Victor Newman’s (Eric Braeden) actions will infuriate Adam Newman (Mark Grossman).
Y&R spoilers tease Victor will pay Chelsea Newman (Melissa Claire Egan) a visit. He’ll tell her that over the holidays he noticed Adam and Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) paying particular attention to her. He’ll say he cares very deeply for the welfare of his grandson. So he’s there to help her, if she needs it. Chelsea will tell him she’s fine. Then Adam will show up. “What the hell is he doing here?” he’ll ask Chelsea. Victor will say he’s visiting the mother of his grandson. “Is that a problem?” “Yes,” Adam will reply. “As a matter of fact, it is.”
Y&R Daily Scoop – Chance’s Anger With Abby Explodes
Victor will head to Society and will express his concern for Chelsea to Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott). Then Adam will approach their table and tell Victor to back off. “We do not and will never live under your thumb.” Victor will retort that Adam always comes crawling back to him. After he leaves, Victor will tell his wife that Adam needs to hit rock bottom in order to realize where he belongs.
At Crimson Lights, Chance and Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) will discuss what food they’re going to try next. And he’ll be irritated when Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway) walks in. She’ll say she wants to move out of the Chancellor estate. But she’ll be angry and surprised when Chance asks if it’s because she’s moving in with Devon Hamilton (Bryton James).
“I walked in when you were half naked with the guy, remember?” Chance will say angrily. He’ll also tell her he’s aware she has full access to Devon’s penthouse because she took him there. “So if that wasn’t a mistake and you were actually sorry about what happened, you wouldn’t find the need to spend every waking moment with the guy that ruined our marriage.” Abby will storm out and Chance will apologize to Sharon for having to witness his blow up.
Young And The Restless Scoop – Lily Shuts Down Billy’s Plea
Meanwhile, Billy will show up at Chancellor Winters, hoping to win Lily back. “It’s clear to me you’re dissatisfied with your life,” she’ll tell him. “You’re dissatisfied with our relationship.” Billy will say that’s not true. But Lily will disagree. “You might think that I’m the one ending things, but you walked away from me a long time ago.” She wants him to be happy but she can’t wait around for that to happen. Lily’s phone will ring. It’s Jill Abbott (Jess Walton). Billy will leave and Lily will answer the call. “He did what?” she’ll ask Jill.
Finally, Lily will burst into Devon’s penthouse. “You’re dissolving our partnership?” she’ll say, and ask him why he didn’t talk to her first. He’ll tell her he was on his way to see her. “Yeah, after you gave Jill your ultimatum,” she’ll reply. Devon will ask her if they can talk calmly about this. “Sure,” she’ll say. “Let’s have a civilized conversation about how you’re stabbing me in the back.”
Devon will admit he’s never really felt comfortable with the merger. Lily will say that because she and Jill didn’t cancel the IPO, now he’s sabotaging it. “How are you any different from Nate?” Devon will say the difference is he hasn’t been secretly plotting to take away her company and hand it over to someone who’s not family. Then Lily will accuse him of damaging her company because he wants control. “Forget the comparison to Nate,” she’ll continue. “You sound exactly like Victor Newman and nothing like Neil Winters.”
